Although Lumberjacks has the potential to design and build decks in most timber varieties we have focused on the hardwood Balau from Malaysia when it comes to quality decking. This timber is very durable for decks and offers little moisture movement. Balau has a high resistance to abrasion and has a density of 1000kg/m³. Other hardwood timbers commonly used for decking are Meranti, Zimbabwean Teak ,Karri Gum, Saligna. Jarrah and Garappa. Lumberjacks not only design and engineer quality timber decks, but also timber lattice, latte and pergolas. We also construct carports.
